Gen-Z Consortium President Kurtis Bowman will be presenting at the 2019 DCD London event November 5-6 and meeting with locally-based and attending press and parties interested in learning more about Gen-Z.
Bowman will be participating in a panel discussion titled, “How will the data center industry deal with exponential data growth as Moore’s Law slows down?” on Tuesday, November 5th at 4:00 pm
From the DCD site: The death of Moore’s Law has been predicted for many years with doomsday scenarios of data center capacity needing to grow exponentially to deal with the consequences. Some experts believe there is a silver lining. “The end of Moore’s Law could be the best thing that has happened in computing since the beginning of Moore’s Law,” said R. Stanley Williams, research scientist for HP Labs. “Confronting the end of an epoch should enable a new era of creativity.” We ask our panel of experts where the next generation of technology will take us.
This year’s theme – Solving the European data center and cloud infrastructure capacity challenge – is in line with DCD’s mission to provide an event dedicated to the data center and cloud infrastructure industry, exploring the full on-premise/off-premise infrastructure ecosystem, from enterprise to hyperscale, and colocation to edge.
Schedule a meeting today to learn more about Gen-Z and how we are impacting the data center of tomorrow!
