The Gen-Z Consortium is constantly busy evolving and advancing Gen-Z technology for the industry at large. Part of that effort involves taking time to meet with our partners, developers, and individuals interested in the impact of Gen-Z on the ecosystem. Two opportunities are coming up very soon, and we hope you will take the time to meet with us at these exciting events.
First up is DCD London, taking place November 5-6 at the Old Billingsgate. Gen-Z President Kurtis Bowman will be participating at the conference in a panel discussion taking place Tuesday, November 5th at 4:00 pm on the intriguing topic of “How will the data center industry deal with exponential data growth as Moore’s Law slows down?”
From the DCD event site: The death of Moore’s Law has been predicted for many years with doomsday scenarios of data center capacity needing to grow exponentially to deal with the consequences. Some experts believe there is a silver lining. “The end of Moore’s Law could be the best thing that has happened in computing since the beginning of Moore’s Law,” said R. Stanley Williams, research scientist for HP Labs. “Confronting the end of an epoch should enable a new era of creativity.” We ask our panel of experts where the next generation of technology will take us.
We will also be hosting meetings with Mr. Bowman throughout the event both onsite at offsite. We would love to have this opportunity to meet for the first time with individuals in the European marketplace. Click here to schedule a meeting.
Next up will be SC19, which is moving back to Denver, CO this year. Gen-Z will once again have an impressive booth presence showcasing the latest Gen-Z demonstrations, including partner products, the multi-vendor rack demonstration, modular DRAM modules, protocol analyzer and jammer demo, and more. We will also be hosting onsite meetings with Gen-Z leadership to share the latest and greatest updates from the Consortium and the industry. Make sure to schedule an onsite meeting soon and visit us in booth #789.
We hope to see you there!
